Identifying Face Shape:Excercise 2

 

Let’s try another exercise where not only you figure out the shape of person, but in this case, differentiating/disassociating, people by identifying their shape. Something most people don’t do, one reason why mistaking one for the other…

Ralph Fiennes (on the left): how he is different from Bradley Cooper (on the right) in shape:

For one thing, his shape is longer than Bradley’s and also flatter.

So, what based on it’s dimensions of shape, what do you think the shape is? Click one of the links below based on what you think the shape is based on it’s qualities being determined by these series of questions: “If is round how much” ? Is it …

• A completely round or, “100 % elipse“
• Elipse, with the slightest flatness on bottom, “A round heart“
• Eliptic:egg, (If it is an egg shape, is it foreshortened, regular, semi-long or long), oval or long oval
• if it is, is it also a belated form?
• If not, how flat is it? Does it look like an oval, but also flat like a heart shape (Apx. Eliptic/Full Heart)
• If it is vastly flat, it should be a square, if a little longer but very flat and resembling a quadrilateral, it should be rectangular
• If it is some form of heart shape is it long and angular? Long, Skinny, Round on top & bot, Flat in middle/Cone Shaped,  is it somewhat flat long and round? Is it noticably wide, but not competely flat, coming to a point resembling a square? Or does it have equal dominance in length width and depth/fullness (not too long, wide, full, round, angular)

Now Step 2, Differentiating/Disassociating Bradley Cooper’s shape of face from Ralph Fiennes…

For one thing, his shape is somewhat rounder and wider than Ralph’s. So, what based on it’s dimensions of shape, what do you think the shape is? Click one of the links below based on what you think the shape is based on it’s qualities being determined by these series of questions.

Step 3:Now that you have figured out both of their shapes, you should disassociate the two, identifying them with their own individual shape. As a result, you know the two and their make up, won’t get them confused, shouldn’t draw one for the other. Now, you should be able to draw Ralph and/or Bradley 100%.

If not, talk to me on the comment pg, and I will help you figure out the reason whether it is association, emotional being frusturation, being too auto critical, not knowing shape 100% etc;
